The application of the protocol takes the form of a written myth, printed in aluminium sheets, that respects the Ramakien story in Thai culture. ‘Mae khraw Maha’ is the name attributed to the mother of the young prodigy Hachariya, who is the hero and ambassador of illegal street food in Thailand in the story. The mother is the heritage figure of street food culture for all the chefs interviewed by Eric Grenand. This project respects cultural and family heritage and contemporary representations of the Thai myth. The project comprises three artefacts – knife, cutting board, light – kept in an aluminium case.
