The Pre-Master programme bridges the gap between the practical focus of art academies and the research and writing skills required in the master’s departments. Participants will deepen their knowledge and design skills, while preparing a portfolio for admission to the master’s programme at Design Academy Eindhoven.

An MA at DAE is a two-year programme and is taught in English. The aim of all of MA courses is to further reinforce the authorship of the designer or design theorist and educate skilled, multidisciplinary collaborators.

You may need a visa and/or residence permit to study in The Netherlands, depending on your nationality and the duration of your stay.
The Design Academy Eindhoven student body has an international orientation. Approximately 70 percent of Bachelor students and 90 percent of Master students are from outside The Netherlands.
