Out of the Ordinary

Niklas Worisch

Glass windows enable us to look outside while also reflecting the surroundings.
Yet, we are often too busy seeing through the glass to notice what is mirrored on the surface. Fascinated by the beauty of this everyday occurrence, Niklas Warisch created ‘Out of the Ordinary’. This series of reflected images is printed on lenticular foil to mimic the effect of light hitting glass. The reflections change subtly, depending on where you stand. By taking these images out of their regular context and placing them in a gallery setting, Worisch invites us to appreciate what would normally go unnoticed.
