Dosed

At every moment of the day, through advertisements, films and social media, we are constantly reminded of the qualities we must possess to be accepted by society. When we eternalize these oppressive norms, and eventually realize that we fall short, we question our worthiness: Do we even matter if we can’t fit the mould? ‘Dosed’ is a 3D animated short film that depicts an unhappy teenager wanting to escape his daily reality dominated by media and its portrayal of the ‘ideal man’. Soon, his digitally enforced insecurities start to manifest in the physical world. The digital space transforms into an overwhelming, judgemental, bullying and violent force. One that infects you from within, changing your perception of the world.
